As we open the door and step inside the lower floor of the Old Dairy, the room is filled with a soft steady whir, paced by a faster buzz, click and then another buzz. Some twenty seamstresses are working hard. This is where the heart of Ruskovilla is. Working for the good of people and nature is at the core of our operations. We believe that underwear, being in direct contact with the skin, plays a major role in the well-being of people. We succeeded in adding a new immunity-supporting forest microbe extract, developed by scientists from forest dust, into our new Metsä (Forest) underwear collection. This innovation lifts the meaning of underwear to a completely new level, and we are particularly happy and proud of it. When the world is in turmoil, it is increasingly important to pay attention to matters that are well. We want to believe in a tomorrow in which people and nature are one, and in which we do more for the sake of each other and our environment. This idea of a new tomorrow keeps pushing us forward.
