Merino wool nappy pants and a silk wool body
Reusable nappies grow with your baby On the first day of life, a baby will wet one nappy, on the second day two, and so on. From around one week onwards, most babies will wet at least 5–6 nappies a day. Babies under six weeks are also expected to pass stools daily. Reusable nappies are a breathable, economical and ecological choice. Natural fibres allow the skin to breathe and contain no fragrances or chemicals that may irritate your baby’s skin. There is also some evidence that babies and toddlers using reusable nappies may become dry sooner than those using disposables. Choosing nappies is shaped above all by your family’s values and everyday routines. It does not need to be an all-or-nothing decision. Disposable nappies for one child can generate up to 1,500 kg of non-biodegradable plastic waste. By using reusable nappies during the day and choosing ecological disposable options for the night, this amount can already be significantly reduced. Ruskovilla’s reusable nappies and nappy pants, made from highly absorbent organic merino wool, have been trusted classics since 1981. They are designed to grow with your child, from babyhood through the toddler years.
